Many thanks everyone. We had a lovely few hours at East Bridgeford Garden Centre because the dogs could come too. They have a special area where you can eat and have your pets with you. It was my lovely D-i-ls birthday too so it was a double celebration.
I have to admit to being done in though when we got back even though I was in a wheelchair. Cant walk far now but as long as I can get around in the house with my trolley I will still keep going. I hope everyone is keeping well.

Lovely to see your paunch Pooh. :roflmao: I hope all is well for you now, OR at least a bit better than last time we were in contact.

Its a long time since that photo of me was taken Michael. 72 years to be precise. Blimey I am beginning to feel old.

Hi, Maisie. Sorry to be late but best wishes from me, also. Hope you've now has a rest and recovered from the exhaustion of your afternoon out - but I bet it was worth the tiredness! :bighugs:

Many thanks Andere.
Yes recovered now from the outing but I have another one in June with my 96 year old ex Land Army friend because we are going here http://www.gcrailway.co.uk/wartime/disp ... -stations/
It is a WW2 re-enactors venue and we are being taken by two friends in two cars to accommodate our wheelchairs. We even have a special parking place booked for us. It should be a good day because many folks come to us asking questions of those far off years and they do their best to dress the part.
