Thinking back to Seniority.

Over the years we have lost old friends and it is always sad but we ARE seniors! Though two went much too soon, Evelyn (Rowan) and Rosemary. We don't always get the bad news, or sometimes it is posted here or on Facebook but not everyone sees it. Lewis, Arfur, Miriam, Doaty, V.M., Lavonne, and longer ago Kevin and Silvertop. I often wonder about Pussycat, Bouncing Badger and Kenneth, who I know were ill, so fear the worst.

Gosh it's hard to keep track Vannin! Seniority seems so far away. I think Bouncing Badger is still around on IDF50, but under a different name, I've seen his boxer dogs in his avatar, is it 'Downlander' ? Can't remember now.

Ciderman, yes! That was his alternative name. I think the area of 'Chi', as he called it, would not be the same without him!
Widget, Silvertop has always stuck in my mind. I have never forgotten the time I joined and first read some Seniority posts where there were two pages of a squabble between him and another man whose name escapes me, but he was bearded. I think he left in disgust because Silvertop was so easily riled!

That's probably why I remember him, as he caused trouble, I to had not long been on computers, so suppose it amazed me.

Yes, I couldn't understand how senior citizens could behave with such childish pettiness.

Kenneth, Lavonne, Arfur, Miriam. Kevin & Doatie are all gone from us.

I'm not sure about the others.

Where have all the years gone?
I well remember everyone named and can only say I enjoyed their company on the forum when they were with us so at least they have been remembered in a nice way.

I also remember when I first joined Seniority I called myself Frolic.
It takes me all my time now to get around with my trolley indoors never mind frollicking.

Sorry Viv - no I don't. We lost touch.
I know she has a very loving family though who will look after her.

Yes you did Michael and its stuck.
I remember some years ago when my computer went haywire and my son came to fix it. I had a message come through from you at the time and he said to me with a VERY bewildered look on his face WHO was Frolique and when I said it was me I think he thought I was on a dating site of some sort so I had to explain it all to him before he had me carted away. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I used to be in touch with CD (Bob Hedges) who lived in Ciudad Patricia, Benidorm. Remember CD's Cafe on Seniority? I stood in as cafe manager when he was tied up so much at home, an official interpreter for the Spanish police, and with community activities. But is many many years since the emails.

Just remembered (I think)the name of the man with whom Silvertop bickered - but seldom had the last word. He was Stan.
