WW2 Weekend - for Caroljoyce & other enthusiasts

Postby Andere Richtingen » Sat Jun 22, 2019 7:41 pm

Following on from a thread of a few weeks ago, CJ was asking about WW2 weekends in her area.

I was at the Peak Rail shareholders' AGM in Matlock today and somebody asked if there is going to be another such weekend on the railway. The answer is Yes, around May next year to coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE day. No details as yet but keep an eye on their website ( http://www.peakrail.co.uk ) from around the end of this year/new year 2020.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Andere.
I shall keep that website in my favourites so I can keep an eye on it.
