Hope everyone is alright, been very quite and empty, just wondered if all was OK and the heat not affecting to many, think this might be the last day, just of to the market then sitting rest of the day in the shade in garden.
I play outdoors bowls in the summer, and played yesterday, was I bad, it was so hot, thank goodness todays match has been cancelled.

Wondered where you were widget. stopped the puzzles because no on seemed interested any more. I too like to play bowls but cannot get t the greens unless OH takes me and he is not keen. Have a nice indoor set too but have to pad the skirting boards. Enjoy the rest of today, will be cooler from tomorrow. cheers Penny

Hi Widget so good to see you, it is usually only when you're puzzling. I used to belong ourtowns lawn bowling team, my hubby also until illness put a stop to it, I still have 2 lots of bowls, 2 pairs of shoes in our bowling bags, those bags have often served us well when on holiday-----the zipped bottoms were very handy when going through customs Penny you have your own car, just wondered why you have to rely on OH. hope all well with you. Hi Dita, great to hear from you. No car now. First OH decided to change mine and I gave it to granddaughter. He got a bigger one for me which I can.t drive. Then he decided to get a new one for himself but decided he would sell his own and have mine. So once again I am without. I feel the best one for me would be one of those sit-in chairs which one drives. With all your equipment, is there someone who could pick you up and take you bowling again.
