Ml hold up

Just back from the lake and got stuck in a line of traffic. Crossing one bridge saw the motorway M1 was at a standstill with lorries going North, jam packed as far as the eye can see. Instead of our 5 min drive home it took us 20 mins. Do you use the Ml. Don't think we ever will. cheers Penny

Not used it since the turn of the century. Even then I always used the A1 if feasible. It largely parallel's the M1 for much of its length.

Thanks Laurie, Suddenly realised it was the start of Bank Holiday. I expect that had a lot to do with it. Agree A1 much better. cheers Penny
