Hi Dita, thank you for asking. After a bad 36-hour period the pain lifted and now I have had lengthy healing sleep, having drenched the eye constantly with Hypromellose saline drops - must have used 10 mls. There is a sense of hopelessness when neither open eye nor closed, brings any relief!
My one remaining gardening guy said he would ring in Jan and I am not sure what to do about the coming garden year, he only does the mowing and tree-lopping. The one who left to resume his other career, in hair salon, is enjoying it and is the ideal and typical personality to capture the customers
with skill and cheekiness and charm
and keep them smiling. Happy Matt, when we spoke on the phone! He was the one who saw to everything except the grass-cutting etc so I may be stuck. He said he could visit garden on Wed half-day or Saturdays sometimes but I hesitate to ask. I also keep putting off making appointment for my trim! Before Christmas, Ross my neighbour gave my phone number to an established gardener who 'does all gdn work'. If he really wants to make contact, it is any time now. But if Kevin phones first, I would stall him which is difficult.
He is the sensitive one.
But I'm glad I gave him the patio work in the autumn.
I hope you find someone too. Nowt straightforward for us!
Love and hugs to yourself and Dolly from
sleepy Trixie and me xxxxx. She found last night so cold, she snuggled up to me with the duvet in between.
