Well I have turned up like a bad penny once again and thank to Michael for letting you know that I was locked out.

I dont know if anyone else saw this on the TV news this morning but they are now to train dogs to see if they can sniff this ruddy virus out. Over the years dogs have been a godsend in sniffing out Cancer, Parkinsons disease, Malaria apart from drugs of every description and they have also been trained to alert a person if they are about to have a fit.
If they can be trained for this virus they would be exceptionally useful at airports and berthing bays.I just hope they can be trained for this.
There have been some wonderful tales over the years of dogs and their owners and I only wish I was still young enough to have one.

It is really astonishing how a dogs nose can inform it of so many things. I read somewhere that a dogs nose is something like 6000 times more sensitive than ours.
