What a surprise on a special day. .

Today would have been my hubbys 92nd birthday and like many of us who have lost a loved one I was feeling very melancholy and rather emotional.
However it came as a lovely surprise to have a message from my Granddaughter telling me that I was in the local paper because it had a write up about my birthday surprise last week when all the neighbours turned out to wish me a happy 90th all standing apart at safe distance.
I wasn't expecting this but my neighbour had taken photos and contacted the paper.
This did set the water works going which has made me a bit late in calling in.
Still trying to see the keys through the tears but it its made me feel better to think that it has happened on this day of remembrance because it feels as though it was meant to be.
I will be back later when I can see the keys properly.

Penny is half-right Maisie, I wasn't out in the sunshine, but was out of action as the laptop had a glitch. Hopefully fixed now.
What a special combination, the pictorial record of your 90th coinciding with your hubby's 92nd birthday. Really a brilliant surprise.
