Penny, one of the online updates as of today.

Johnson announced that the ban on outdoor gatherings would be eased on June 1. Any person, including those being shielded, can go out and meet one other person , still keeping social distancing. At this point, people would be allowed to meet in groups of six, as long as they do so outside and members of different households stay two metres apart. These gatherings can happen in gardens, parks, and other outdoor private spaces. On making the announcement, Johnson said it would allow people to see both parents at once or grandparents. However, mixing with several different households in quick succession should be avoided.

It has been recommended that people who now have to travel to work should avoid public transport where possible. One big change to the lockdown guidelines is it is now recommended that people wear face coverings, including masks, when they are in enclosed public spaces, such as on public transport.

Indoor gatherings of people are still banned. People are not allowed to meet other people indoors. People should not visit friends in their homes or allow people to come and visit them.
