Understand there has been a bit of worry about my well being.

I appreciate the concern, thank you, but I am still pretty much in the pink; just not had much very interesting to say.

Additionally, I was introduced to the forum by Lottie and am still a bit raw from her loss.

During this week we started comparing our ages and I am afraid, made guesses in your absence. We have admitted to ours as follows:- Maisie and Penny are in their nineties, Dita 83, myself 78 and the twins 73. I said I believed Ciderman Michael's age was close to mine. But there was a huge difference in mine and Penny's guesses at Laurie's age. I thought 'in his seventies' and Penny believes you are older than all of us Laurie.

83 next birthday, but I have to thank the Good Lord and say I rarely feel it!

81 coming up in November. Not bad considering my dad was 55 and mum was 66 when the final whistle blew. In fact I've outlived all my extended relations except for one uncle.
Uncle Dennis in 1943, The best uncle that anyone could ask for!

I looked up my local forecast: Today 22 degrees and the wind has dropped and it says no rain this week.

Fairly typical dry week in English Summer but I'll be watering the garden again.

Is Penny in her 90s too? I never realised that.
I always thought she was in her 80s.

Hi Maisie, I think we all thought the same! Penny told us she is 93, so you are not quite the eldest young lady on the forum! You are always an inspiration to us. Take care xx

True Maisie, must say I never think of myself in the nineties. 93 last May. Trying to keep up with HRH who is 94. Hope you are keeping up with that back pain, Must hurry the bloke up with the injection. Take care. cheers Penny

I think you are wonderful person Penny because I know how you have tried to keep this forum going in the past with your quizzes and calling in each day.
There have been times when I have looked in and felt guilty because I have not contributed to it mainly because nothing over exciting happens nowadays.
Even Pooh has forsaken me.

Thanks Maisie. Often wonder about Pooh. I love the stuff he puts on. Often think about putting some questions on but I think folk have had enough and are browned off with this virus problem.
