I found this fascinating! I did a similar thing when I was working for the museum. We had an exhibition called "Then and Now" and my job was to take photos from the exact same position as some of our very old photos from about 1900. We didn't have the fade in fade out but I was absolutely engrossed by the experience.

Interesting, how times change, just wish this 'time' could be changed as quick as a click.
