The good morning and weather thread

I have been frozen today. Thank goodness I bought two fan heaters a year ago because I am needing them in addition to the C.h. at present.

Good morning everyone and wishing you all a good week. Very cold again this morning but I don't have to go out until tomorrow. In the midst of writing the Christmas cards, and their number has gone down from 68 to 64, I can't see a way to trim the list down some more. Sixteen of those are fellow choir members.

Locally 3 degrees this morning, and I am happy to abandon the weekly coffee morning to stay home in the warm!

Not quite as cold as yesterday but still pretty chilly, very similar state of mind to you Vannin because I only had a very short game of footy today xxxx

Hi all, I know this is 12 hours after a 'good morning', but I have just seen the local forecast. Snow is possible over the weekend. It is probably a similar situation where most of you live. But, I suppose, we were lucky in having a good October till the month-end.

26ºC today! Got a bit hot working in the garden. Morning and evening I am feeding next door neighbour's cats. They have access via cat doors but the can't get the cans open , so I have a purpose!

Completely covered with snow, had such a shock on opening the curtains first thing. Last night we were forecast rain so you can imagine the surprise this morning.

I was singing at a funeral today, was picked up after I cleared a track for myself, with de-icing salt. When coming home, a glint of sun started a thaw. With luck, it won't be around by evening.

We have had snow for the past three days, it is still on the roof tops and roads. Very cold too, no wonder the ice is reluctant to thaw. Instead of football its snow balling ??

Very cold this morning but no snow, though there has been rain. I have to go out this morning and don't relish the thought.

Similar to yesterday. Storm Arwen was mostly in the North with dire consequences and is now moving away. Tomorrow Storm Barra will sweep in from Ireland, across Wales and the West Country, heading for Central and Southern England first. Unfortunately my eye appointment is tomorrow but the hospital transport might possibly get me home before we feel the worst weather arriving.
