The good morning and weather thread

Weather here in Norfolk so far so good, but expecting rain and need it, but have been very happy 'pottering' about in the garden, get so annoyed that I can't do what I use to, still at least I'm still here,

Still lovely and sunny, sky still a super blur with white puffs. No rain yet and like widget we do need some.

We have had a couple of sharp showers but its mainly dry with occasional sunshine, Widget your words tell my story too, I have good intentions and vow I am going to do all sorts------never mind at least I can still do something

Good afternoon everyone, very rainy after a dry and sunny at times early morning, because of feelings of doubt about how the day was going to turn out later I decided to do the final earlier than usual and have an early kick off. Wow ! am I pleased I did because no sooner had we secured another brilliant result and the whistle indicated the end of the match------the rain came down, and it is still raining .

Now 7 p.m. and the weather is vile. These strong winds may reach gale force, so no picnics. The mornings are so lovely too.

7 pm same here. Real hurricane wind and rain. Rain welcome but wind is a bit too much. Take care all.

Morning all, awoke t a lovely blue sky and very sunny. Within minutes it changed and keeps going on and off all the time. We did have some heavy showers last night but fingers crossed non so far today.

Bitterly cold, blustery wind, very cloudy with rain showers-----horrible day, no footy today, that's for sure .

What a day. Once again awoke to sun and a lovely blue sky, within an hour it started to change. Been horrible ever since and very cold. Hope all are keeping well and warm,

Quit agree, it is atrocious now. But in the morning it stayed sunny and warm here till mid-day and luckily my lawns were finally mowed during 10 to 11a.m.thanks to my good car-lodger grabbing the opportunity.

Strange, changed again just before six and looks lovely again .Anyway. Tomorrow forecast not too bad, fingers crossed. May I ask What is meant by car lodger. ?????

Car lodger is the young man Ross who lives opposite. Because the family has three cars and a van, and a short drive, and I have no cars and a long drive, he has used part of my space to park his car for a few months. I shudder for the cars that park on the road because traffic whizzes by on this hill.
He constantly offers to help, which is very kind, so he and his parents all keep an eye on me.

That is lovely. I imagined car lodger to be someone sleeping in your car, Stupid me. Anyway, your arrangement is super. cheers Penny
