Found this in one of my Eastlight files (there's 11 0f them! Just to prove I crossed the equator! :-)

Davy Jones - Principal Scribe, that's a good one! 1952 a memorable year. I flew from Dublin airport to
London (Northolt) airport on my own, age ten. It was, I think, a six-seater and the stewardess and I were sitting behind the pilot. I was seen-off and met, so it was no big deal! Heathrow was only partially open.

Wow! much interesting history between you, I remember the blitz in Sheffield, remember because I was at my Grandma's with my Mum on holiday and we were in the middle of it. Best I can do at the moment. hugs to you both xx
