Our first crop of figs from our tree we planted last year. They are small but delicious! You can eat them with the skin on!

They look delicious, but I have never been able to eat figs. They were the supermarket kind and it is likely homegrown would be an entirely different experience! Congratulations on growing them anyway, I know my family would love them.

What are the supermarket kind.

Fresh fruit is fresh fruit whether apricots or apples.

Admittedly figs, like any fruit, taste better straight from the tree still warm from the sun but that wouldn't stop me.

The only thing I've got against the "supermarket kind" is it price, 25 pence each the last time I checked!

They are delicious with cream, particularly Bailey's Cream!
