Riversdale

We just felt like a drive today and went out to Riversdale beach about 40 minutes drive on typical NZ windy roads. The first time Rosie had been to the seaside and she loved it ! Got wet then ran in soft sand and got in a hell of a mess! :-) Soon as she was dry it only took a high speed shake to clear all the sand off!
We met one lady on the beach, probably doing her daily 4km up and down the beach. She looked very fit.

We passed a sad sight . The remains of St Andrews Church, built about 1890, only yesterday was burned to the ground. The reason is not yet known.
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

That was a good outing Ciderman and thank you for sharing the pics. I was wondering about your little Rosie earlier in the week because I saw a similar little dog in town.
Sad about St Andrews Church though. Might it have been arson?

It's a possibility Vannin, but as yet no news.
