Portugal 1962

Back in 1962-3 I was working for a vineyard in Setabul, Portugal just for keep and lodging. They were lovely people I worked for called Mende. The youngsters spoke English but the parents did not so there was a lot of arm waving with my very limited Portuguese. When I left for England, they gave me a fascinating book from the company Barros Almeido. The book contained 50 real photos fixed into the book pages. I have just realised that now as we move into 2022 that it is exactly 100 years old. A limited number of these books were circulated to the distributors of the wines in many countries.
On looking through the book today all the photos were in perfect condition but the outer binding is a little the worse for wear. Here are some of the photos which bring back many memories for me.
