Any old members looking in.?

Postby Maywalk » Tue Mar 29, 2022 7:02 pm

I have spent a lovely couple of hours going over the threads in here and its brought back many memories that the seizures had wiped out of my mind.
Its not only done that but I have had a good giggle at some of the answers which help the meds go down.

I only wish some of those who call in here just perusing would become members and would join in to get this forum going once more.

Thanks to you Penny, Vannin and Dita for keeping it going. :thankyou:

Hi Maywalk and very glad you enjoyed reading a few pages. As you say, it would be great to get some kind of contact from all those 'guests' who arrive daily in high numbers.
Thank you for always putting a smile on our faces xx

Hi Vannin.
I noticed that quite a few folk call in here as guests and there are 25 on the line at this moment but why they call in and dont bother to become members is to me a mystery.

Well I hope all who do call in are keeping well and I will know better this time tomorrow whether I do because I have to go for another bone infusion in the morning. :huffin:
I think the bloody docs are trying to get me spurred up to run a Marathon.
Keep well everyone.

Hi Maywalk. As you said about the guests------there are 12 escorting me at the moment. Well Vannin and I have been here all the time flogging ourselves to death and occasionally one or two of the oldies pop in and usually asks,-- why don't more of the oldies come and post ????
Its always good to see you Maisie------also your mate Poodog, You two have given me many laughs when I have been in despair, hope he gets better soon.
Take care xxxx

Yes I know that you Vannin and Penny have kept the forum going Dita and I can only thankyou all for trying so hard.

Hi Penny. Does hubby have brittle bones too?
Its not the infusion that makes it awkward its because they cant find a vein.I had two nurses call last week to try and get some blood and between them I had 16 pricks that produced nothing.
Mind you at my age I should feel excited at having so many pricks but I am feeling more like a bloody sieve instead. :roflmao:

I keep getting that Ukraine flag coming up too Dita.

Keep well everyone. I am still trawling the archives. :grouphug:

Hi Maisie. Hubby sat for 3 hours with his injection on Saturday then 3 hours on Sunday for the second. No idea what for but we did note that he went very pale over a few weeks prior. Seems to be O>K. and has a hospital check-up tomorrow wvening. Do hope your feeling o.k. As I tell myself, there is only one answer and that is old age. Take care and a hug for Pooh.

cheers Penny

It could be for something different then Penny, unless it was zoledronic acid which is what will be pumped into me.

Hi Maisie, it was donated blood infusion for which he had to rest back and it was put into his arm by drips. That is why it took so long. Anyway, he looks a lot better and has a hospital appointment tomorrow evening.
Hope you are feeling O>K> cheers penny

Hi Penny.
Its taken 4 doctors and two nurses to try and find a vein in me today. That took well over an hour.
Mind you we were having some good laughs in between. My son was there with me and he has never seen me having needles shoved in me like that before, it was him who was cringing.
It was a lovely Chinese doctor in the end who finally managed to find a vein and then another hour for the acid to be infused.

I hope hubby is ok. Is he a blood donor then?
