Watching TV this morning, I realised how special the people are who do hand signals for the deaf. Has anyone else watched. I think they are extremely clever. What do you think. Penny

Have seen them do that, very clever, I have a friend who had hearing trouble, but is great at lip-reading, so I have to stop myself speaking with a big mouth movements and stop waving my arms around, she understands

Agree, it is wonderful When you watch them do it, simply fantastic and in no way could anyone follow what they say.

Sign language is the 3rd official language here in NZ, with English and Maori. I am amazed at how they can interpret just by waving their arms about.

I tend to sit and watch the lady or man doing the sign language it is so lovely.
