I have had to throw three away already this year, one top, two bottom.

Time was when that would have now been a glut of collars, doylies, fine linen handkerchiefs and table napkins but those days are long gone!

Huge tears from top to bottom and the material is obviously quite rotten.

Just unusual to throw away 3 sheets in as many months.

Nothing seems to have the qualitylike it use to,
can remember my Grandmother saying when a sheet had a hole in it, you cut it in two where the hole is and join the other sides together then hem it all round. Don't think so today.

I have thrown sheets away if they are too small for my bed or don't fit very well anymore, mainly fitted sheets.

Check your toenails Laurie! I seem to generate razor sharp ones now, quite capable of shredding sheets, specially the way I rotate in bed.

I use a professional; of course, so they shouldn't be a problem!
