Out in the chair yesterday and my foot slipped off the footrest and was underneath and bent back before I could stop so it's a day of bed rest and ibuprofen gel today I'm afraid.

I had lamb Shanks planned for lunch too!

A lovely day here, too hot for me to go out walking to the shop.

I went to watch Logan at his sports day on Tuesday,my daughter in law picked me up at 7.15 am as I had to be there for 9.30 start. When the sports had finished I was able to sit and have a picnic with Logan in the school grounds and lots of other families.

How are your grandchildren doing Penny?Jade is still looking for a Primary School teaching job for September.

Take care and chat soon.

Don't know if the gel works, I'm so full of painkillers anyway (That's not a complaint, they do work ) but it's about all I've got left and it does seem to take the edge off.

i don't cook anymore as such, simply reheat or Microwave

I've got the stair lift and two indoor chairs So I can get from the bed to the stair lift under stair lift to the freezer so I won't starve!

Hi Maggeigh, so pleased to hear you are O>K> Must have been good watching Logan at sports, give him a big hug from me. Ellen was Given her gown in Bath Catheral by Prince Edward, James is almost there and hopes to finish this year. Pity his illness kept him down. Ellen is doing a run around Silverstone for charity, I think next week, hope the weather stays fair rather than hot. Do take care yourself and give Logan a big hug from me. cheers
