Banking Scam

Postby Penny » Wed Aug 24, 2022 1:46 pm

Had a call this morning from a Main Bank telling me lots of money had been taken from my account. Asked for my details so that they could stop it. Anyway, had a feeling about this so when daughter popped in we phoned the bank. The asked considerable questions and sent me an E mail to check if it was really her and then confirmed the phone call was a scam. So I thought I would let you all knowin case you get a phone call. cheers

It would certainly seem odd, your bank asking you for your banking details!
