I will if I can find enough time to keep well and stay out of hospital Penny.
Managed to wheedle my way out today because I was taken there last Sunday with a chest infection and the doc wanted me to stay in but I said I had managed all my other medications and if he could give me anything in tablet form instead of cannula I could manage fine because there were others worse off than me who could do with the bed. The rotten beds are ruddy uncomfortable anyway apart from having plastic mattresses and pillows that make folk sweat to death.
They tell me I have a lesion on my left lung so I will have to wait and see.
No good panicking at my age.

Hope all goes well Maisie.

The lighted match that breaks in half just as you have struck it!
The pipe that’s out but starts a fire within one’s jacket pocket.
The ember that jumps from the fire, it’s whereabouts in doubt!
These pyrotechnic wonders are sent to try us out!

The cup that empties itself out when carrying a tray,
The champagne cork that pops itself when 20 feet away,
The milk that boils while someone knocks politely at the door,
These things are sent to try us out- but isn’t it a bore?
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

They cant do much about it now Michael because they say I am too frail.
Mind you I have had a good innings so I cant grumble.

By the way I would class many of those that you have written above would come under the classification of "Sod's Law"

Sod's law, a British culture axiom, states that "if something can go wrong, it will"
