WW2 VENUE

Postby Maywalk » Thu May 11, 2023 7:55 pm

Keep your fingers crossed for me for Saturday for no rain because my neighbour is taking me to Melton Mowbray to the WW2 venue.

It is her birthday present to me for my 93rd birthday this month and I am certainly looking forward to it because it will be the first time I have been out this year.

The folks who get these venues up really throw themselves into the era regarding dress, hairdos and many other aspects.
Putting the pointer on here for you to have a look but scroll down the page to see many photos taken of their efforts.
There will also be a flypast of a Lancaster Bomber.

Hope you have a great time Maisie! Should trigger some memories for you.
