Pacemakers

Postby Maywalk » Wed Jul 19, 2023 9:34 pm

Hi folks. I hope you are all keeping well. I cant say that I am feeling great but I don't expect to be running around like a headless chIcken at my age.
I get so tired now and sick to death of hearing gloomy news each day which does not help to brighten the day.
It would be nice if we had a thread just for folks to say what has cheered them up each day.

Well its time for checkup for my pacemaker again and it will be the eleventh year that I have had it. It was first put in when I was 82
I thought the battery lasted only between 8 and 10 years and would like to know if anyone else has one and how long they have had theirs.

Keep well everyone
Will pop back again soon.

You keep looking after that pacemaker, know a few folk who has one, but not for that long.
You can go to the weather post and have a grin at my sock wearing, but just lately they have had to be waterproof, fed up with all this rain.
