cost of teeth

Postby Penny » Thu Nov 23, 2023 5:17 pm

My D/in-law has just told me, having been to the dentist she ha had a filling and now needs a topping on one. If she has a gold top it will be £7,000, or if a white one, £5,000.
I thought having teeth done was already paid for on our taxes. I know when hubby was here he left a payment so that I would not have any charges, this has worked well for me. Still cannot believe what my D/in-law said this morning. Anyone else had any problems like his. cheers.

Thanks widget, what a to-do. Having just been to the dentist I will continue to be careful. Have only one tooth missing from when I was very young. Take care and look after what you have left. cheers. :please:

Good for you maggeih, most false one look so much better, always lovely and white. They need cleaning mainly once a day where-as I have to clean mine when I rise and after every meal. Makes one think. cheers.

Different subject. How do you cope with your washing?. Do you wash every thing you wear, every day,or when things are dirty.I am never sure what is best but it seems stupid to me washing a jumper after just one day and same with undies. cheers.

I always change into what I call my comfy clothes when I am indoors, so when I go out I don't wear the clothes for that long so they might do for 2 or 3 outings. On'
l only wash when the machine looks full or when I run out of knickers!!!!!
