How Long

Wonder how long we are going to post on here. Had a shock today when I tried to get in touch with my friend in Utah. I have tried all day but no luck and I don't know his home address so my friend has gone for ever.I wonder how long we are going to last on here,also ciderman. I will keep posting as long as possible. Hope others feel the same. cheers.

It does seem a shame when a person you have known for ages on the internet suddenly disappears, not a lot you can do about it, I will also keep on posting and looking in, shame we can't find more folk.
I have just been to the hearing clinic at the hospital and got a new hearing aid which has the loop system and also an app on my phone where I can alter sounds, only hope I can use it alright, sounds OK at the moment.

I will keep posting while I can too.It is sad when you don't hear from anyone after a long while you just assume they have most likely died.
Poohdog was very poorly so at least he must be out of pain now.Do either of you remember Marie she had 2 little boys on her avatar?Well she died a few weeks ago sadly.

I notice that the 3 forums that I inhabit have all been very quiet. In addition some of my email friends have ceased to exist. Only two of the people who disappeared are confirmed as dead, one was my travelling companion for several years in the "10 feet tall and bulletproof " era and the other was a newcomer to the wine industry when I was his boss back in the 1970's. Sad but I guess I'm still here for a while. I'm in no hurry but I do look forward to 'the last extreme adventure'.

Shame we lose so many 'friends' I can say I have more 'dead' friends than live ones, !!!!

Would you believe, on the screen today trying to get the American forum I saw a number in the corner and pressed it. I could not believe when up came the forum with my friend on it. So, I got in touch twice and he and family are fine. So that one is sorted. Had me quite worried. Keep posting folks, we don't want to lose this one. cheers.

Well done glad you find them again, I got 'friendly' with a person on IDF years ago must be well over 20 years, her name was Deltadawn, I am still in contact with her now by Facebook Messenger, after all these years, I have her address so we do sent cards, she lives nowhere near me and when I ask if I could phone her for a chat she said she should not like that and said I would not understand her accents. I did not mind quite happy with our way of communicating.
