Would You?

Postby Penny » Sun Dec 31, 2023 4:53 pm

Reading an article about this I began to wonder. Should I be allowed to end my life if I was very ill with no sign of recovery. One minute I say yes and the next I say no. I think yes, and then say to myself, If I do it today there could be a possibility of a cure being found leaving me with no chance of ever living again. On the other hand if I say no I would not, I could be left waiting on the verge for ever. What would you think to that question. cheers. :dunno:

I believe the choice should be available but with safeguards relating to temporary depression and cureable problems. Using the same logic would one allow a loved pet to endure uncureable pain in the last year of life.
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

I sat 'yes' it is your life, depending on that you are in the right frame of mind and have the blessing of family and friends if there are any,
as said we have control over the life of animals,
