Thanks feeling a lot better today so only hoping it was a 48hour cold, but being on your own can mean you can go to bed when you want and perhaps not worry about looking 'good' !!!!

Good for you widget. Do take care and wrap up warm. My son does all my shopping at Waitrose, a good store. Weather is much brighter today and forecast the same for the next week or so. Enjoy your day and take care. You too maggieh, keep fit and well ready for your holiday. cheers.

I went on a cruise many many years ago, over 35 years and loved it, but at this moment my daughrer and husband are just starting of on a cruise from Southhampton to Canery Islands, she sent me a pic of the boat, I cannot beleive the size of it, nothing like the one I wet on, far to big for me, I am sure I would spend all my time getting lost.
Where are you going?? and is it a big ship? but am sure you will enjoy it.

I am also leaving from Southhampton in August for a week.I am going to the Norwegian Fjords it is going to be a big boat probably like your daughter and son in law are on.It holds 6 thousand passengers plus crew.I have no sense of direction
Im bound to lose my way around.

When I went it was a nice smaller ship, don't honestley think I could cope with a large one, I would spend all my days walking up and down corridores heven knows where I would sleep if ever I find my cabin again.
Good sailing am sure you will enjo it.
