Living off the land!

There's something very satisfying about eating what you grow. Today almost all of our dinner consisted of lettuce of several colours, asparagus, and potatoes, tomatoes fallowed by ice cream with raspberries and strawberries. The only things we didn't grow were avocadoes, some red onion, and Tuna and a capsicum of a yellow colour.
In the freezer we still have plums, rhubarb, feijoa and enough bought food to last us about a month.
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

Agree, I grow a lot of salade stuff and veg, nothing like going in the garden picking it and eating it.
Cold here today but not going anywhere, had a nice pub lunch yesterday with daughter husband and his parents,
Keep warm.
