and was involved in the Normandy landings. After the war he applied for a posting to Bermuda and mom and I followed on a returning lend lease aircraft called HMS Ranee. Then came New York, Singapore and New Zealand which he loved and after the 3 years of his loan period, he either had to return to the UK or opt out of the navy. He chose the latter. And here I am!
