I love it. Tonight at 8.30pm then again tomorrow at 7.30.pm.
Only thing that spoils it is that stupid Brucie with his oh soo boring jokes.

I love it too, Enjoyed it, not over-joyed with Alesha Dixon, really liked Arlene.
Was sure Joe Calzaghe would be more nimble than he was and, he is a bit of alright.
Thought Ali Bastian danced good and they were all put on a great show and did well.I am looking forward to tomorrow, naughty Brendon (sp) nudge nudge.

I watched some of it, mo.

I enjoyed it but not as much as I used to and wonder if it is the time it's being transmitted now and I think I prefer Saturday tea-time to later on a Friday evening.

I agree that Bruce is a pain and that little Italian judge seems to get worse each year. (Actually, I thought he didn't look very well this evening) and I really think Arlene will be missed.

All in all, I found it disappointing.

I am really fed up that they have coincided it with The X Factor, which I love.
How childish is that. :tantrum2:

Oh I really miss Arlene. and am not keen on Alesha. What does she know about dancing, just because she won it one year.

Bruce is one big embarrasment. I cringe when he opens his mouth.
Having said that, it's great that a man of his age has all of his faculties. So many people of a lot younger age are getting loss of memory or Altziemers.
Please excuse the spelling. I can't seem to get up a spell check.

I can't see how Alesha can possibly criticise anyone - it would surely be resented by the professional dancers on there.

I haven't seen the UK version of this show but I do know that there are times when I sit here open mouthed at just who goes through to the next round and who is eliminated on the Australian version !

..... and I do know what I am talking about since I competed in ballroom dancing competitions (including some on TV) many years ago.

Alesha getting on my nerves, think Arlene is involved in another dance competion, Is it "So you think you can Dance" something like that.
Still love the programme though. I am disappointed with our lovely boxers dancing.

Joe Calzaghe Is one of or possibly the best boxers this country has ever had, despite his exceptional talent in the ring, as a dancer he was a little stiff and didn't show his excellent footwork he has in the boxing ring, I hope as time passes he will get over his terrible bout of nerves and get going.

He is undefeated in the boxing ring and hope this will be the same on the dance floor, but he's got quite a way to go to achieve this - in my opinion.

Shocked that Martina Hingis (Tennis player) was voted off.

I really think it should be up to the judges to vote the dancers, not the public, as human nature being what it is, one does tend to vote for their favourite person, not the way they dance.

Dita.
Yes Arlene will be judging the UK version of So You Think You Can Dance.
Being a reality t.v. viewer, I watch the American version and really love it. Different from the usual dancing. Far more technical with fantastic choreography.
Sort of Hip hop etc.

I look forward to that Mo
Vince , Joe is not only talented as a boxer, (boxing fans at this house) but a handsome guy with not a mark on him, I thought he would fly through because he moves in the ring so well. Really surprised, had him down as a sure winner.

I certainly hope that he will be knighted, as it would be far more deserving than some of those Goons in the House of Lords.

When I was a lot younger I had a spell the Boxing Booths in Sammy McKeown place in Bristol, fighting at welter weight along side Ray Reeks and Tony Ratcliffe, it was reasonably easy to flatten the big heads that wanted to try and earn a few bob in front of there mates, but I didn't consider it a viable career move and changed my mind or my new wife did once married, but I followed the sport very closely ever since.

I use to love watching on T.V. Floyd Patterson and Freddie Mills fighting.

I was only young but loved Floyd.

Yes Floyd Paterson was the perfect gentleman but came up against another Swedish heavy weight that was a bit too good for him Ingemar Johannson, and Freddie Mills whom I met was a lovely chap, my elder sister nearly melted when he signed her program after one of his fights, but unfortunately he came to a very sad end in that alley way.
