I did one this evening - chicken casserole with green beans, mashed potato and dumplings.

Very nice - but got podged :roll:

Oh I love dumplings ... I make mine with Atora light, they're lovely.

Love stew lamb & loads of veg and homemade dumplings, yes! Rowan thick gravy.

I love the dumplings too and I use Atora light - makes me feel more healthy!! We call them doughballs here though

I make a sea pie.

I pressure cook diced beef till tender.
Add diced carrots and onion.
Add a good gravy stock.
Put in a small saucepan and add a dumpling topping to cover the top of pan.
Made with of course Atora vegetable suet, plain flour for a pudding, or Self Raising. for a dumpling.
Put lid on top and simmer for ten minutes.
Far quicker than making a meat pudding.
Delicious with peas and mashed potatoes.
