Can you imagine this beautiful animal roaming around,
A beautiful little deer, most of us would gasp to be
able to see such a sight as we walk through our woods.
Can you imagine seeing one tied to a tree and being
set on by dogs. ???? I cannot.
WHAT SORT OF WORLD DO WE LIVE IN ?

Such violence in the world, I despair.
Avoid the evil, and it will avoid thee.

Fortunately, there are also many, many good human beings. This tiny albino fawn was found abandoned and adopted by a family nearby. His lack of camouflage made him very vulnerable and they found a wildlife sanctuary for him, where he can have freedom and protection.

It is good to see your pics, and of course there is good humans around, we have a deer park near me and they do escape, we have an Albino and several more on the roam living in the woods behind me. It does not escape the way things are though, men with dogs capture the deer, they then tie it and loose the dogs and enjoy watching them kill after they have already bitten it half to death. Hare coarsing another barbaric pastime, badger baiting, dog fighting, I could go on.
Some people own animals which are starved to death.
Anya that pic is beautiful but does not hide the facts.

Dita - Of course you are right, there are many vile human beings. Also many good ones, I try and remember that.

A woman I know takes in elderly dogs, whose owners have died, or can no longer care for them. Few people want old animals but she always has two or three. One old dog had always lived outside and would only come in for a short time. He liked to sit at the top of the back garden, where he had a good view. So she made him a comfortable kennel up there, to protect him from the rain and left her kitchen door ajar, night and day, even in winter, so he could come in. There's devotion for you.

I asked her if it was safe to leave the door open and she said the dogs might be old but they would have any trespasser's arm off, long before he reached the door :now:

Yes! Anya she deserves a medal, there is people around like that and thank goodness. It is better to remember the good side because to only recall the negative is not good emotionally if one cares for animals & wildlife.
You are certainly an early bird?
