In each of these lists you are looking for the one-word connection which would make these words into a two-word phrase and all the words you're looking for begin with the letter 'L'

For instance - French; Maternity; Sick - the answer would be LEAVE

1. Hurricane; Safety; Sun

2. Cuff; Chain; Missing

3. Cupboard; Calf; Free

4. Body; Computer; Sign

5. Dinner; Bag; Painted

Sorry, No 1 is not any of your suggestions.

How about another where I make it a bit harder. Instead of the connecting word being the second word, the connecting word in this next 5 will be the first word of the two-word phrase.

For instance: Cattle; Dress; Fling - the word you're looking for is Highland

Again - they all begin with the letter 'L'

1. Straw; Rites; Post

2. Module; Month; Eclipse

3. Meter; Opera; Year

4. Fluke; Salts; Sausage

5. Cheese; Drop; Grass
