Ooo, very good, Mo.

She's a good poet.

Looks like these little poems aren't popular with the members.
I'll give it one more go.

SPONGE
CHOCOLATE
BRITTLE
WRAPPER
YUMMY

I'm on a diet boring me
I can't have chocolate with my tea

That sponge I bought with oozing cream
Is just another lovely dream

That wrapper on that brittle bar
Is looking at me from afar

Well all I want is things to eat
So can't I have this yummy treat

DRIVE
WEATHER
COLD
SCARF
COAT

Please go on though - I love reading them although am worse than useless at composing them.

Departing slightly from the thread. Inevitably, I love funny poems and songs. There was a little article about Jerry Hall, who quoted this, by Wendy Cope -

The day he moved out was terrible
That evening I went through hell
His absence was not the problem
But the corkscrew had gone, as well.

I have always loved Dorothy Parker, one of my favourites -

Hickory dickory, little white hen
Only laid eggs for gentlemen,
You could not force her,
With gun or lariat,
To come across for the proletariat.
