edf energy

Once again I have received an email from edf Energy, asking me to submit my latest electricity meter reading to them on line.

I duly obliged and received a paper bill through the post. I queried the fact before with them that as I could see my account details on-line, there was no reason to send out a paper bill.

They responded that they were unable to switch me over to paperless billing.
Now if I can submit my reading on line and view my account and pay on-line – why the heck can’t I go over to paperless billing? It would save them money.
British Gas, British Telecom and Virgin Media (for our telephone, TV and broadband services) can do it so why not edf?

Rant over.
