Food Alert - Heinz

Heinz is recalling from customers some Heinz 100% Apple and Pear Purée baby food with a 'best before' date of 11 January 2011, because of leaking product pouches. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

Product recall notices will appear in the national press tomorrow, Wednesday 23 December. Point-of-sale notices will be shown in stores that stocked the affected product. These notices will explain to customers why the product has been recalled. If you have any cartons or pouches of the affected product, please call the Heinz UK Careline on 0800 0151557 for a full refund.
