A sea of silver.

A sea of silver.

Last friday I got quite worried... I was parked at Sainsburys.. and when I came out of the store with my laden trolley, I realised I couldn't remember where I'd parked. It's a massive car park and my car is silver. I scanned my eyes for it but all I could see was this sea of silver cars. It must be the most popular colour on earth!

In the end, after walking up and down for 15 minutes, I spotted it... It was hidden by somebodys camper van, Phew, I'm glad it wasn't pouring down with rain.

Two questions here; Have you ever done similar... and is your car silver?

Not silver CJ but I find I get most of my exercise from going up and down the lanes at the carpark in Tesco.

We used to have a white granada and I was in it, nagging at the man in the driver's seat when I realised it wasn't my husband and it wasn't our white granada - it was white but it wasn't even a granada!

I have noticed thouhg how many cars are silvber just now - flavour (colour) of the month maybe!! :cheeky4:

I tend to put a plastic carrier bag on the aerial which makes it easier for me to find.

I never get lost trying to find our car - my husband always parks it in the same avenue at the supermarket.

I thought he was a creature of habit - now I'm wondering if it's to make sure he remembers where he left it!

Yes mine is silver too. Have lost it on several occasions, now I always make a note of which window or door in the store I am nearest to. Cme out of Boots last week and went to stand beside the car, waiting for hubby to come back from where-ever he had gone. Looking round saw him grinning sitting in the car next to me. :tantrum2: :huffin: cheers Penny

Gawd !! 'ave I done that !!?? I take all sorts of points of reference but I still lose the car, regular as clockwork.

I met a friend in an unfamiliar town, one time, the car park was ENORMOUS and I was late and in a rush. After lunch, I was going to give her a lift and I could not find the car, for HOURS. Fortunately she saw the funny side and we could not walk for laughing.

I have tied a couple of short ribbons to the areal, very artistically and that helps. A bit.
