In a metal box, 6" x 4" approx.

There is a wee white ball and a pointy thing on a bit of string.

*hope it's not some sort of Anne Summers item*

They are petanque balls, I don't know what the 'pointy' thing is.

'tis a complete set Monsy. It is a very popular game in France. Try googling on Boule. I would think that they might be worth sort of 5 to 10 quid.

We've got a set, Monsy, and I paid £20 at a Car Boot for ours.

We enjoy a game in the summer - if we ever get such a thing again ever! :please:

Very enjoyable game Monsy you usually just lob the wall towards a small ' Jack' about the size of a marble can be played on firm sand base, at least I did last time in Greece,

Its quite popular here. Bath holds a Boules Tournament once a year in a little park. Also, when I worked for the MoD there were some employees who went outside every lunch time and had a game.

Quite expensive items to buy. You could advertise them in the free-ads of your local rag.

At a pinch, they could be used as Ann Summers .. erhm ... objets d'art? Especially the pointy thingy
