Who reads in bed?

I love to get snuggled down in bed with my book for a nice read before going to sleep.

Do you enjoy reading in bed?

I cannot go to sleep unless I've read first. Tried crosswords but they get my mind racing.

All the time, sometimes until 2 or 3 am depending on how gripping the book is. No wonder I no longer get up early to go online !

Yes it is mazzy...
What are you reading at the moment, anyone? ... I'm re-reading one of my old books, 'Tim' by Colleen McCullogh.

I like to read in bed too!

I have been trying to read some of the classics which we never got around to at school. I managed to get two Anthony Trollopes from the library. Barchester Towers and The Last Chronicle of Barset, although there are several novels which fall in the middle of those two.

I took them back today and got "Mary Barton" by Elizabeth Gaskell and "Janet's Repentance" by George Elliott. I don't know which to start first!

I used to read in bed, years ago, could not go to sleep without it. Not anymore.

Been reading Madeleine Albright's autobiography, a woman I always admired. Did not know she was Czech and did not get her American citizenship for a long time.

However, she dismisses the whole Iraq horror in just a few words, not a mention of the hundred of thousands ordinary Iraqis killed or maimed, men, women and little children.

So I chucked the book to the chattery shop, as someone calls them.
