People are queueing to see 44 captive zebra finches accidentally "making music" on an electric guitar in an art gallery.

The "creator" of the cacophany is a Frenchman who says they (the zebra finches) are collaborating with him.
Really? I can't see how they were given any choice on the matter and, had they been able to be asked, feel sure that they would far rather be where nature intended - flying freely and living their lives in freedom.

What utter arrogance and what Lazy Art this is!

That reminds me of a visit I once made to the Avon Tyre company in Melksham. There was one room with reel upon reel of different diameter wires (as used in the tyres) and these were threaded across the room and out through holes in the wall. They vibrated (I imagine as they were drawn into machines on the other side) and formed a kind of orchestra.
