suspicious

I wanted to transfer on line some of my money in my PayPal account to my bank account.

Normally there is no problem getting into my PayPal account, but today I couldn't get signed in until I had filled in a form asking for my name etc and bank details. due to there being a lot of frauds signing in.
No problem there but when they asked for my pin number, I must admit I became suspicious and didn't fill in the form.
I didn't think we would have to give that information.
Have others had this problem with PayPal?
In the end I got through to the help line and they automatically transferred the money over.

Never ever give out your pin number. No good asking about anyone else. Every scam starts with a first victim.

I have never given any personal details over the Net, never had an online bank account, never joined eBay or anything like that, for that very reason.

I'm presuming the people on the help line reported the likely fraud Mo? as VM said NEVER give your pin to anybody, there's no reason it would be of legal use to anybody else

Strange though, because every time I go into my Pay Pal account I get the form to fill in.

It sounds like someone forgot to remove whatever it is showing on your account. I think you are going to have to ring them again.
