I don't know why I do it.

I don't know why I do it.

Why,

do I iron all the easy things first and save the difficult items of clothing till last, when by
that time I just want to chuck them back in the ironing basket.

Why

When doing housework do I flit from one room to another doing little jobs, instead of
doing one room at a time.

I'm even worse! I only ever iron things just before I need to wear them!

Same here DL and I am also very careful about the clothes I buy - they are mainly the no iron type.

Coming from a Naval background were you had to iron your own clothes, I find the whole thing about ironing very therapeutic, and tend to do all the ironing at home - and now its spread I do my daughters homes as well because
I do there's as well when were visiting, I suppose I'm becoming a boring old fart :dunno:

I use my condenser dryer.

The clothes dont need ironing when I take them out of that so I just put them straight on coathangers.

I only iron sheets and pillowcases and cotton undies now.

Vince, when I was with the ATC we had one officer there who would not allow his wife to iron his uniform because she got tramlines. He used to do it all himself and even "box" his shirt. It looked smart but I tried and could never get a good result!
