Major Phil Packer has completed the London Marathon, raising money for disabled kids, among other charities. He wants to build a clinic to help kids with disabilities

It is an insult to the guy to mention heroric bliddy footballers when he has achieved such a task. I join you Monsy with a real gobby SPIT :tantrum2: :tantrum2:

Must say though I do watch Rugby sometimes on TV :groaner:

Nowt wrong with watching it Dita (or any sport) so long as you don't see the participants as heros

All kinds of people get labelled "hero" and it's a great pity we don't reserve it as a special word only used for men (and women) like Major Phil Packer.
