A bloomer in the Mail

If you read the Daily Mail, have you come across the bloomer on Page 35 regarding wisteria. Two people I have shown failed to see it, anyone found it.cheers Penny. :grouphug:

I find the situation depressing enough without reading the Daily Wail or the Daily Depress for that matter.

I don't read either - in fact stopped reading newspapers some time ago.

When I saw the thread title, Penny, I thought your beloved had surprised you with a gift from Interflora.

Most of my roses are vicious. I have a bad reaction and ended up in hospital. Yet I love the bleedin' things. Literally

I bought a thornless climber and a couple of thornless floribunda but they are wee frail sickly plants, prone to anything that creeps, flies, multiplies, or spores.

I think wisteria is a glorious-looking thing. Whether it is good for house walls longevity is another thing. A good friend sent me a beautiful wisteria photo recently, I must email her...............

This is a wisteria that is growing up a full grown Pine in the Gardens of the Villa Carlotta on Lake Como.

We had one climbing over the coal bunker at Greenford. Wonder if it's still there?

Viv - I wonder if your friend's wisteria pic is as good as this one, taken outside a chapel near here?
