Your favourite store?

If I had to choose just one store as a favourite I think it would be M&S. Their goods are well made, good quality and reasonable prices... They do nice food too.
What's your favourite store?

M & S for sure - everything looks so clean and fresh. I have quite a few favourite buys in there. I don't shop there every day or even every week though - and then there's the clothes and furnishings, kids stuff - I could spend weeks in there - and don't forget the undies and nighties!!

M&S and BHS who the latter has upped the anti IMO.

I have items that I bought from M&S in the early 1960's and 80's and they are still being shuffled about in my wardrobe. And they still look lovely and well made too :sunglasses:

I used to shop in Marks and Sparks, their garments and other goods are certainly well made.

When it came out they were using children as slave labour, in the poorest countries, turned me right off and I have not set foot in the place since that day. Now I check where stuff comes from, in any store.

I paid a visit to one of my favourite stores this morning - Myers were advertising a special of buy 2 and get one free of a brand of clothes I love so I got a red long line vest, $109.95, for absolutely nothing and when I went to pay for the other two garments they added a black scarf (similar to a pashmina but not quite as big) free of charge, too.

The two garments I paid for, a loose fitting long line jacket and another vest were 10% off because I belong to the club run by the clothing manufacturer. I am still losing weight but because two of the garments were vests and the third a loose jacket, it won't matter, and they are the small sizes not the large ones.

I think I did rather well.

We have one in Falkirk (next town) but I've never been - heard good reports about them though.
