You have done better than me Rosemary but please DONT overdo things.

My family are against me going out on my own since I have had three blackouts.
I had the third one last Saturday when Cliff was trying to wake me.
He had to call the paramedics in because I had gone into a blackout during my sleep and I finished up in hospital again. I had to stay in overnight.
I have had an echocardiogram and the 24 hour heart test but still waiting to find out what is causing them. I am hoping to find out when I go to the hospital next Tuesday.

So sorry to hear if of that, Maisie, so of course you do need to rest!

In my own case, I have got to know what I cannot and cannot do. I take my rest periods as and when I need to and everything is working out well. Thanks, but I don't need to be telling to rest!

UPDATE:

I have been at the hospital again today. Bloods were taken and the results when received were described as "excellent". I explained that my tumours appeared to have shrunk and the lady registrar examined them (and had to agree with me) whilst the other doctor sat there and asked me about how I was getting on at home.

By the time I had finished telling them, they were both amazed and thrilled by my progress and when I said I felt it was a good sign, they both agreed that it certainly was.

Apparently they had given me quite a low dose of Chemo when I was in the hospital and were going to increase it on Thursday. Now they are going to give me just the same low dosage and then have me back in about 2 weeks and, if necessary, give me a higher one.

It's looking good, folks!

That is really fantastic news, DL !!!! What is your daily routine?

Evie - That's what Liberace said, when he was comparing rings with ladies in the audience. One had a massive rock on her fingers and he said - I don't know what you are doing but keep doing it.
