I was more than knocked back when folks had made cheques out to us instead which amounted to well over £250.

To say I was overwhelmed would be putting it mildly and I asked all the guests at the do if they would mind if Cliff and I sent it to our Rainbows Hospice to pay for a crystal brick to be put in the Wall of Celebration that they were having built, to commemorate our sixty years of marriage because I had already got details concerning this.
Everyone was thrilled to bits with the idea so I sent a cheque to Rainbows
with the few words to be etched on the brick as follows. ...............

I am thrilled to bits about this because I have never been inside this wonderful haven for the extremely sick youngsters and to be able to take my family as well means a lot to me.
