I got Vista when it first came out simply because I got a new compter with it loaded. For the first 2 monhts I was getting 'patches' almost everyday. I think they just let it out too early when there were still some bugs in it. I don't have any problems now.
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.
